How to make black human hair extensions to fade ?

• i have black human hair extensions and i want to die my hair dark brown. i cant afford new extensions and i heard you can not bleach extensions because it will ruin them completely. is there any way i can get the black to fade so then they are lighter and light enough to die a dark brown ??

  Hey Tbh i think the black should blend into the brown hair depending how dark it is, I have the underneath of my hair dyed a very dark brown, but i find that any colour extentions from dark brown to black blend well with my hair, its blonde that is impossible to match. I also think Bleaching extentions, although yes they are human hair, from experience the condition will deteriorate and the shiny surface that stops them from knotting will be exposed Maybe try and put a henna dye over them first, or a very light blonde hair dye that has gentle lighteners, for the purpose of making them a dark brown, i dont think full on bleach is neccessary Answer mine if u can u can see a pic of my hair :) http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120404190824AANJvx3
