Does the instyler damage your hair?

Is the Instyler worth it?

  • I'm considering buying the Instyler but I'm not sure if I should. I have shoulder length hair(maybe an inch or so below) and is very thick. I used to use a flat iron but I stopped because of the damage it was causing. I'm sure the Instyler causes damage as well but probably not as much as a flat iron. My hair isn't too difficult to straighten, so I'm wondering if I should purchase the Instyler. Oh and also would you recommend buying the full size or the 3/4th inch barrel because my hair is only shoulder length. Thanks you guys!

  • Answer:

i have the full size in styler , i bought if about 2 years ago and did not love it at first, now i use it a few times a week , it has grown on me . my hair is about the same length as yours and with layers and angles . i would say the in Styler is good if you want straight hair not "straight super flat hair" and also works best with mousse and a serum / gloss hope this helped.

No. It's seriously so horrible. I have really thick shoulder-length hair too and I had the worst experience with it. I put up with it for a month and even had my hairdresser use it on my hair and my hair looked like a dry piece of **** to be honest and I have good hair. I wouldn't waste my money if I were you. Do what you want of course but that was my personal experience, I wouldn't get the Instyler to cause less damage it's gonna cause more.
