Answer:
There is no standard label for vegan/not tested on animals internationally. Basically at the fundamental level, the ingredients used to make the shampoo were at some point tested on animals for toxicity/irritation & such. The company then when it builds its entire product will do multiple tesst it on animals again to make sure there are no side-effects from the combination of the various chemicals deemed safe (by the FDA & such), it is then released to the market......repeat for any new formula/upgrade/flavor that comes out If your product says it was not tested on animals that means it did not itself test on animals & did alternative testing (skin cultures) etc & then was released. The whole point of buying a non-tested product vs an animal tested-product is to discourage animal testing & supporting those who do not test on animals. NOTE* Some companies are owned by larger companies, so whilst the small company may not test on animals the larger one may thus you can still be funding profits towards companies you oppose. There are apps & such to make sure you are buying strictly vegan products like this. As for whether it will damage your hair, i'd doubt it many non-tested products also try to stick to natural products rather than lab chemicals.

That means that they have not placed this product on the skin of dogs, etc. to see if it would burn them or cause problems with their skin. Some dogs that are found are sold to labs that test their products on animals to see if they can cause problems on humans, hair, skin. The reason they printed that "not tested on animals" is a lot of people feel it is cruel to test chemical products on animals. Yes the product will be nice. Give it a try

No haircare products are tested on animals - regardless of whether they claim it or not However every hair care product is made of ingredients that are all tested on animals - so this product only claims "Finish Product" It wont damage you hair

it means they didn't test the product on animals to make sure it doesn't burn your eyes, harm people etc less animal cruelty
