Are horseback riding lessons usually expensive?

How can I raise the money for horseback riding lessons?

  • I'm 14, and I found a cheap (well cheap for horseback riding lessons, not to mention PRIVATE lessons.) its 40$ for an hour private lesson. I make 13 dollars a week for chores. I have to pay for them myself because my mom cannot afford them. I've always wanted horses and horseback riding lessons. By the way, I realize I'm not gonna get a horse anytime soon, I've accepted that, but I still want lessons and to just be able to ride horses. Help?

You could make homemade crafts and sell them. Especially around the holidays. Make money pet sitting or dog walking. Sell things you don't want anymore.

I think you should keep looking, you can probably find group lessons for almost half that price. Otherwise you will just need to wait until you are old enough for a real part time job and can afford them. Grocery stores and movie theaters sometimes hire people as young as 15.

OKAY: Well first, is that at Magnolia Stables? I don't go there, but my friend and I were thinking about it. She said it was 40, necer checked it out! If so, is there a website? Second: Find more chores you can do, babysit, garage sale, bake sale, craft sale, etc. Just find out if you need a permit for anything you sell out of the house.

Babysit. House sit. After it snows, wake up EARLY (like before adults go to work) and offer to shovel out your neighbor's car. See if that barn offers group lessons for cheaper. See if the barn will let you work to pay off part of the lessons. Make holiday cards to sell for about $1. You can ask local businesses if you can set up a table and sell them on their sidewalk. Ask your neighbors if they need help cleaning. You can earn a lot from vacuuming and doing laundry! Don't give up!

You could ask the people if you could work for your lessons, or work so many hours a week and get 1/2 off. Good Luck!

Many riding stables are willing to let you do work in exchange for lessons. See if you can do that (maybe just enough work to cover $27 and then pay the rest).

Do you play an instrument or sing? You could try busking, i do and i get on average $40 an hour! (I'm 13). if not you could: -Do work for your neighbors (mow lawns, water garden's, clean pools, wash cars, sweep driveways or patio's ex) - Put out and take in bins on bin night - Hold garage sales and lemonade stands - Baby sit? if you are good with kids - Look after people pet's and water there plants when they go on holiday - make and sell different things E.g. painting, drawing ( in cheep frames, they will look better) - Paper rounds i hope this helped :)
