What are the best winter work gloves?

Good riding gloves for winter?

  • Where I live, the normal winter temp is around 10 (air temp) and the gloves I have don't seem to keep my hands warm. I am planning on getting some Nitrile gloves in the mean time, but if you know of any that work, please let me know. I would like something I can still move my fingers in, something I can get work done in. So basically, functional, yet keeps me warm.

  • Answer:

Why don't you get some of them magic gloves with the fingers cut out but with the mitten bit that goes over. Hope that makes sense? Haha. If not here is a photo: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/50819854/Magic_Gloves_glove_knitted_glove_half.html

Iride

Try porelle riding gloves. They have a waterproof layer on top then leather palms for grip. The inside is fleece lined and they keep your hands very toasty. Plus hrlecause they're designed for riding they are very flexible and you can do all your usual jobs in them! I'm not sure of price or where you can buy them cause my dad got me a pair, but I don't think they cost too much.

I just wear my ski gloves. of course I'm not doing dressage.

I just wear my normal winter gloves.. they are much cheaper than actual riding gloves, I pay $1.50 for them at the dollar store, and then when they rip or get lost it's not a big deal to replace them.
