Where can I get parkour lessons?

Where would you recommond I get lessons, ohio?

  • I've been looking online for places to get lessons at but im having a hard time finding what I need. I've tried asking my horsey friends but they always recommend either their own or a some one else I know who's lessons are not what im looking for. Im looking for lessons near the 44705/ 44647 area that offer both western and english lessons. Im interested in barrels,reining, and jumping and haven't decided which one I want to go with. I was hoping to find a place that had at least both barrels and jumping so I could try both of them out. Im looking for a place with reasonable rates which in my world is $30 or less and hr. A place that offers lessons for adults, I don't mind riding with children at all I just don't want to be the only adult. Im also looking for one that has an indoor arena and trails. Does any one know of any places in my area that fit this or pretty close to this. I know there have to be places near me im just having a hard time finding them. Thanks

Just join 4-H. It's much cheaper and you'll learn to ride just the same. If you already have a horse that is.

Stables don't tend to be very good at promoting themselves, which does make it hard to find places except by word of mouth. Your local tack shop is probably a good source of information. I'd stay away from any place that has the same instructor teaching both barrels and jumping ("Jack of all trades, master of none" they say) But it would be acceptable to go somewhere that has two different instructors for those. However, most barns tend to lean more towards Western or English, so you'll probably have a hard time finding a place that is equally set up for both.
