I think you have a good idea, but you need to be cautious about spooking the horses with the costumes. If you are going to be anywhere around cars or traffic after dark, you need lots of lights or reflectors. Can you put the two horses in a hitch with a cabriolet or surrey, or other buggy, and dress up in 18th century costumes ? That would be impressive ...... Henry
