Can somebody please explain to me what spatial perspective is?

Can somebody please please please explain how to tune a bass?

  • standard tuning is easy but when i'm reading msic and it says the songs in drop d or somthing i have no idea how to tune it like that, can somebody help explain how to drop tune or half tune my bass

  • Answer:

Go here, http://www.tunemybass.com/ and choose your preferred tuning. PS: use pegs at the headstock (end of your neck) and turn one, ringing the appropriate string. When you hear the open string is in tune with the sound on the website, stop turning the peg. PSS: strings are in tune when there's very little to no "dissonance" between the sounds. Oh, and you might want to learn the way notes are laid out on your neck. In standard tuning, the lowest string is E, if you go up one fret its F, but if you down tune the open string a half step, the open string becomes Eb. Down tune another half step and Eb becomes D, this is what you want.

download AP tuner, its free, there are options for bass tunning drop D is just between C and D (im almost certain :P)

Standard tuning ( E A D G ) is used for most songs. Drop D is used often also ( D A D G ) If you get into metal tunings they will use Drop C ( C G C F ) There are hundreds of ways to tune a guitar or bass but those three are the most common. Get yourself a chromatic tuner, they cost a little more than the cheapest tuner you can get but it will recognize all 12 notes. It will save you a lot of frustration. Good Luck and have fun
