Who was the best saxophone player that played for Miles?

Should i start playing the saxophone?

• ive played piano for 4 years(started when i was 8), clarinet for 3 years (started when i was 12). i'm not the most talented player on earth, and i havent really been playing for that long but i have always really enjoyed playing instruments and i always try hard. also im the only one in my entire family who plays instruments so it kinda makes me feel like the odd one out, or even a bit nerdy, but i recon its so much fun so i try to ignore the comments i get from people. ive thought about becoming a professional musician, kinda just tossing up the idea, im just not sure whether i should continue playing clarinet or start saxophone. the saxophone just has such a powerful sound that just lifts you inside, like you can feel the sound inside of you.... what do you think i should do? thanks :)

  It depends on how much time you are prepared to spend. I played clarinet and then alto saxophone. It is easy to play the sax when you can already play clarinet, but do you want to spread yourself so thin. Playing an instrument is not nerdy. Repeat, not nerdy.
