What are some jobs in music that i can put all my love for music into and also turn music into education?

• I love all music and i feel that with my life, i want nothing else but music itself. I have just graduated High School the past year and i have been at a point where i have no idea what i want to do with my life. When times would get hard i would only have one savior for me all the time and that was music. Everything i do with my spare time some way or another has to deal with music. I was wondering if there were some majors out there where my life would be revolved around music that i could try. Its all i ever desire and my chances at going to school for music, still have it in my life, and get paid without being a famous artist seems like a way for me. I would like to ask if someone could give me a list of careers that deal with music. I would greatly appreciate any help given. Thank you.

  Follow in my footsteps, then. I am finishing my music education degree and am going to get my doctorate in music. While this is happening, I am composing/arranging music for high schools around my area and in other parts of the state. I also compose solos for beginner to intermediate students. Even though I am getting my degree in education, my goal is to play in a large city orchestra and also do solo performance. Three different careers in music that you can DEFINITELY do at the same time. EDIT: Oh, and let's not forget that you can give lessons. If you're renown around your town by teachers and other music educators alike, you can charge quite a handful of money for only an hour a week.
