Looking for songs with an 'ancient' feel to it..?
-
... in lack of better words. I'm looking for songs similar to the Transformation piece from the Brother Bear soundtrack though I'm not certain what the genre would be called: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85WNcQgrueE I am working on a storyline that will take place in Europe before recorded history and I am looking for songs or bands that could help serve as inspiration for that. Preferably songs with heavy emphasis on vocals, but not necessarily on lyrics if that makes sense. It is probably a bleak genre, but there's got to be something out there, right?

Answer:
The theme to Gladiator is a bit like that.... You may find some of Clannad's stuff helpful - like "I will find you" and perhaps some of Enigma's stuff which has used Red Indian chants.
