What song could I sing at my Quinceanera?

What song should I sing? (please answer) 10 points!?

  • I'm auditioning for The Voice on Tuesday and I'm still deciding on what song to sing. And I have so many songs in my head that are both pop, and country but I mostly do country. And the song that I know well (except for the bridge), is called Fearless by Taylor Swift. And I look up to Taylor a lot. I hope to be like Taylor one day too. And I've written 14 lyrics about my personal experience, and I'm just starting now to learn guitar. And my mom says (who's a singing teacher), says that I might only get to sing about 16 bars of the song. So I guess that's the first two verses and the chorus right? Also if anybody has auditioned for The Voice, or will be. How much of the song did you get to sing? And what was it like. I can also sing Taylor's song Enchanted pretty close to perfect! But I think Fearless has a better range. So I'm thinking about going with that one. And I can also sing Teenage Dream by Katy Perry perfectly but with more of a country style to it. And I also know the first half of You and I by Lady Gaga well, but more country. And Naturally I know the whole song, and I sing it very country style. And people tell me all the time that I sound like Taylor Swift, and that I could be a new Taylor Swift one day, and also Colbie Caillat. But which song do you think I should sing? I also know bubbly but, Dia Frampton already sang that for her audition. And I'm also thinking of singing "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera which I can sing perfectly. And I hope to be on her team, or Blakes mostly. I look up to both of them a lot ;) And I saw the CMA festival a few nights ago, and I was smiling the whole time, and I was like I want to be there one day! And I think I can do it. But which song should I sing? Please help! I really want to go through to call backs! And through at least the first/second round of The Voice auditions in front of the judges. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE! Thanks :)

    That's soo cool that you are auditioning, I love that show<3 but anyways I wouldn't recommend singing christina's song because there is kind of a lot of pressure that you have to sing it as good as she does( since she is a coach ) but I would say to sing which ever song you are the most comfortable with, since you will be super nervous that day....from what I read I think you should sing "fearless" cuz country is your style Hope I helped... Sing whatever you feel you sound best with. If it's Fearless, then learn the entire song and audition with it. Go for a song that showcases your vocals.

when you audition for the voice you go thru the website and they give you a list of songs to chose from to sing i think you can sing anywhere from the whole song or just the chorus or something good luck :) they have cheap songs my girl, aint no mountain high enough but they have songs like the man that can't be moved by the script good luck :) edit: if your talking about once you make it on to audition for the judges, sing a song that suits your voice, dont go for something big then fall flat, that wont look good, what they are looking for is someone with the wow factor, someone who can blow them away, what can really get them liking you is if you take a song and make it yours, show that not only are you a singer, but you can be efficient as a musician, a singer, a songwriter, and the fact that you have creativity... again, good luck :)
