How do you stop nasal singing?

How to stop singing and remember for an entire week?

• I have a sore throat and it keeps comming back because i just LOVE to sing all the time like for example five minutes ago i was singing then remembered i couldnt so i stopped im afraid i will ruin my vocal chords if i keep doing this i have even gone to despret, silly, embarassing mesures just to stop singing. (i even tried tape over my mouth i know it sounds crazy and stupid but seriously its the only way to keep my mouth shut) how can i stop singing without people looking at me and thinking im crazy.

  i had kind of the same problem.i lost my voice once ( a few months ago around may or june) and i luv to sing wi'll i listened to music and i have to hear music every day or i'll just be a big bleh lol any way it was really hard to control myself singing along to music so what i did was that i kept reminding myself not to sing along or i just turn off the music (which was hard for me to do) but i did it and i also got my voice back in time : ) well if ur in chorus u should really tell the teacher that u can't sing and also take a note with u to the chorus teacher so she won't think ur trying to not sing today : )
