How do I find a singer for my band?

So I already put up posters and stuff and I already have a list of people who are interested. How do I audition them. It is a classic Rock cover band so what should I have them sing? Should I only have them sing songs? Scales? Like what should the whole audition routine be like?

Have them play three different songs. Have a heavy metal song so you know what there capable of (i suggest Black Sabbath). aso a regular song like living on a prayer by bon jovi and also throw in one of your favorite sogs, if you like the way it sounds then theyre the right choice. only have them sing because the scales part might throw them off.
