How can i strengthen my singing voice?

  • i have a nice tone to my voice but i would like it to be stronger because it does sound fairly weak and i can notice it after shouting or talking for long periods of time (because i am quite loud), so is there any way to strengthen my singing voice or just my voice in general? also does exercise weaken the diaphragm muscle as i have heard this and i exercise alot...?

    Exercising your diaphragm helps immensely. Try blowing up balloons a few times a day, eg: start off with 2 ballons 3 times daily. Also practicing the scale while changing the shape of your mouth eg: oh-ah-ooh-eeh holding the high Doh then back down mid scale and back up again and hold. Do take it in steps and dont rush otherwise you will strain you're voice and make you very dizzy. hope this help

All you have to do is work your voice for it to become more doable and if i knew what section you were then i will give you more info about how to strengthen your voice so if you are an alto try to find a song in alto section and sing it and try to project it if you can you wouldnt want to overdo it or if you were a soprano try the music scale and go an half step higher each time until you cant go any higher iight. ohhhh and remember PROJECT PROJECT and PROJECT try to ok. If you sing tooo much it will weaken your diaphragm dont overdue the singing.

Keep singing and start singing louder. Try the scale singing (rising high and low) and louder with each repetition.
