How do I become a good singer, and songwriter?

  • Well, I love to listen to music, and my bestfriend sings really well. I just want to know how I can become really good at singing and writing my own songs. Without lessons though, I just want to sing for fun- not so I become famous one day(however that would be awesome). How can I learn to sing in front of people and also write my own songs. Where can I learn the basics of writing a song like verses, chorus etc etc. from online?Also how do I "find" my voice????? I just want to feel confident with my own voice, and be able to write my own songs and sing them for friends and family. Nowadays its hard to write my own songs without people thnking you've copied them. I'm new at this- and please help me out by giving me some ideas! - THANK YOU"S SOOOO MUCH =D

    to become better u need to know how to sing from ur stomach but if ur only singing for fun theres no point coz u need to go to lessons and it takes years of practise,i dunno how to write songs iv wrote a few of my own but they were rubbish lol

well you should think of things that you like to help u be inspired and give you ideas for a song. heres a tip for good singing inunsiate your words while you sing and another tip is on high notes or if you need to sing more at onece try sqweezing your butt with your body not your hands i know it sounds nastey but it works really good. i am a singer with a good voice take my advice.
