Bad throat after singing?

  • Im 17 years old iv been singing on and off since i was 12. When I was 16 my voice was very powerful and i had good tone ect. Now I find it hard singing iv only been singing for a week. I cant sing the hard songs I could before after singing my voice hurts. I sing with my diaphragm. I don't warm up before singing should I start off with easier songs ???
