HOW DO I USE MY 12-NOTE GUITAR TUNER?
-
this is my first time playing a guitar so Im not exactly sure how to tune it. I got the korg TM-40 tuner and it has 12 notes (C, C#, D, Eb, E, F, F#...). I dont understand what these notes mean. Isnt it supposed to be show either an E, A, D, G, B, or e?

Answer:
Typically E A D G B E is the standard tuning for regular tuners. Those notes on your tuner are the notes you can match up with on your guitar. Make a c note (3rd fret, 5th string) and match it up and so forth.
