How to make my singing voice sound better?

How can i make my singing voice sound better.?

• i have kinda had this idea of starting a band, and playing my guitar while singing a song and put them on youtube.... im not an Absolute terrible singer, but im not great either. i wanted to know if there was any vocal exercises that i could do everyday that will improve my singing voice.? i know that it will probably take a while for me to get good, but im willing to wait. i dont wanna take lessons....so can anyone help me please.? thnnkxx -lexxi♥

  Making your singing voice better is really something that a teacher would be most helpful with; if you don't want to take lessons you could always go talk to your chorus teacher at your school when summer's over but it's understandable to not want to wait that long. If I were you I would sing scales everyday; you could use solfege or just sing with la's. Also, just practice songs in different ranges. Try to sing songs in different keys and octaves. I would also try doing vocal warmups. If you go to a music store like Coffee Music or Stu's you could probably find some choral warmup books which will just help with your singing and vowel/consonant formation. Hopefully this helped.
