How to sing in head voice?

How to sing in Mixed voice or Head voice?

  • Hi, I'm 16 years old male and I'm a tenor. I really want to know how EXACTLY can I sing in the Mixed Voice of Head Voice? I just can't seem to sing in those resonances. I can sing my chest voice up to G above Middle C without straining and I just break into Falsetto at A above Middle C. Please help me, I really want to be able to sing in Mixed Voice and Head Voice so I can get my singing to another level. I have the singing success program and I've tried it, I just can't get into my Mixed Voice or Head Voice like what the program teaches and I'm very frustrated right now. I really want to give up because no matter how hard I practice I just can't get into Mixed voice or Head voice. It really makes my singing options limited.

  • Answer:

You need lessons in Palatal Choice and Resonance. This will help you to pitch better and to stop straining and to move smoothly between notes. Your voice has still not matured yet so don't push the higher notes just yet. Get a good voice coach
