How do i train my voice to sing powerfully?

  • Hello! i was wondering about how to sing powerful if you may have noticed.. i dont mean moving like when i sing im not the worst but when i start to try to sing powerful notes i completely bottle it! and my voice shoots up and cracks?! and like it just sounds like im wailing an example of what i mean by powerful :D such as the chorus in this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8KQmps-Sog&ob=av3e or this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhduQhDqtb4&ob=av3e i mean i can sing the verses okay, but yeah thanks!

    You have to use your diaphragm. You also need to be confident. I had a choir teacher tell me once that you have to belt the notes like your the best in the world. Singing teachers can coach you better in person than I can over the internet, so ask your choir teacher or take lessons. Sorry I couldn't help you more and hope you can get better advice.
