How can i build a singing career? (i'm 16)?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXii-4w0ckA that's me. i'm 16.. haha. i really want to build a singing career while i'm still young. what are some steps i should take? i already have some original songs and stuff... how do i put myself out there (besides youtube) like live shows? thanks so so much :)

alot of times local cafes, starbucks, etc will let musicians come in and sing. do that. contact different organizations who do benefits for solders, etc to sin their, post more youtube videos! try out for american idol, x factor. keep singing!!! sing anywhere you can! you will be noticed. trust me!

Wow! You have a beautiful voice! I'm not sure how to answer your question, but I just thought you should know that. If I were you, I'd join theater at your high school, or a singing class. Don't join some quire where everyone is singing at once. That is a great step to get found. Like someone said, send your best work to people.
Well, I'm 17 and a guy...and I play drums. I'm trying to get famous too...I would consider asking your friends (if they play instruments) to start a group and play gigs at coffeehouses or parties! Good luck to you!
