How do i become a better singer?

How do I become a better singer? and how can I get myself to be notice.?

• Hey my yahoo family, Well I'm an play-writer, actor, producer, and director. I write my own play and I act as well. My dreams are to be a World Entertainer, I love entertaining people and making people laugh. I love music, it has always been a BIG passion of mine. But the probelm is I can't sing. I want to add on to my talent and be a singer as well. I want to bring back Great music to the world, and not this bullshit that we listen to on the radio. Don't get me wrong I like today's music, but alot of artist today don't put their hearts and their souls into their music anymore. And I want to change all of that. I use to take vocal lesson but then I stop becuuz I went to college. But now I have more free times on my hand. When I went to my vocal lesson, I have a deep voice so I'm a baritone. But I want to be a tenor. I want to be able to hit them high notes like Usher, Chris Brown, Omarion, and all of them. But my mom told me told me to be proud of mt baritone voice, becuz there not many baritone singers out there. Becuz guys like Barry White and Issaic Hayes are dead. And my mom told me that I can stand out and be the different. I hope to be great one day, but idk if I can. So what I'm asking is how do I become a better singer? How do I improve my breathing in my diaphragm? What are the steps that I should take to become a better singer? and when I do get better how do I get notice? Thank you for your help, I apreciate it.
