From horrible voice to heavenly?

Changing my horrible singing voice to good better voice?

  • Ok so I want to learn to sing pretty well. I dont really song alot. Because im so shy I dunt even sing when im alone so I actually have no real idea what I sound like.ive sang once to myself once and I sang songs from sweeny todd when I was alone during that time but I didn't record myself so i never for to hear.i sang with my older sister once when we re home alone and she said my voice sounded ok. And my sister sings really well but shes no expert so im note sure. I think my shyness really holds me back from even trying to sing like when im listening to a song i really like ill usually just mmouth the words or tap my hands or feet buti want to do more than tap my feet and hands I want to actually sung, but then anther thing is that I want a rocker punkish voice like if you hear or hav heard songs by paramore like thats what youget and misery business and brick by boring brick or things like that then youll kno what in talking about so im basically saying i want a voice like hayley williams. I just love her energetic punkish rocker kind of voice its amazing but like i said with my shyness anything i dont know how I can but I really want to. And then idont hav that kind of singing voice is there a way to change mt voice or train my vice to sound like that? plz helP thanks! Bye!

  • Answer:

Practice, practice, practice. That's the best way to improve at anything. Once you get more comfortable you can sing for your friends and family to help improve your confidence and presence. As far as trying to sound a certain way, you should practice by singing songs by the vocalists you like. Don't push your voice, though; you can damage your vocal chords. Remember, not everyone can sing in every style, so you shouldn't force it if it's not in the cards for you.

practice as much as you can, but when you practice make sure you have open vowels. when your mouth is open you can reach higher notes. Also no shoulder breathing. Your ribs should expand. The more air support you have the you can have longer phrases
