Is there any way to make my recorded voice sound like what i hear ?

My Voice when recorded doesn't sound so Rich when compared to what i hear...i have read about why that happens... but i want to know if there's any way i can make my Voice in the recordings sound like what i hear... is there any Specific kind of MIC , Compressor plugin etc , Mixing and Mastering Tips...i m using Cubase 5 ,and i was going to buy a Sampson CL-8...So is there Anyway that i could make my voice sound Rich in a recording... And do all the Celebs have the same Problem ? Do they hear there Voice Much Better than What they really sound like to us....?
