How to sing country? And how to sing properly?

  • I am best at singing country but am farely new to country singing. Any tips on how to sing it well? and also, breathing and singing teqniques to help my voice and not damage it?

    -Get a voice coach. tip: look for one who specializes in country, if they exist, but any teacher will do -Make sure you add that you are interested in singing country music and she/he might be able to find some good songs which are not only suited to your taste, but will be good for developing a good voice. -Be prepared for singing songs you might not like. I have a vocal teacher and we sing mainly songs from musicals T_T id rather sing country!!! -Listen to various different artists and try and pick up on how they sing. Apply it to your own voice.
