How to become a professional Singer?

  • okay, i understand I won't be a Miley Cyrus but I want to become a pop/r&b singer like Pink. I don't have a very strong voice though, I don't know how to breathe properly, my parents are unsupportive. I'm 15. I want to become a singer so bad, I just don't know how to get started. I've heard the same things before: Get a vocal coach, get involved in choir, go to talent shows, put vids on youtube. I want MORE, detailed advice that can break me into the biz. I need talent, i need brain power other than my own! HELP!(:

If you aren't willing to sit down with your parents and say "Either you help me and encourage me to go for my dream or you obviously aren't my real parents and I'm going to leave as soon as I turn eighteen" you obiously don't want to be a singer bad enough. 2. Send videos into recording companies.
