How can I make my voice sound better?

  • I seem to sound better at singing when I don't speak for a certain period of time but I'm not even sure if it really works though on my opinion, I sound wayy better after not speaking and I'm positive that it's not because I haven't heard my voice in a while.but is there any other way just incase Im going to perform? And I'm not going with the drink hot/warm stuff before you sing because I'm not going to sing those songs with high notes like the ones for choir. Thanks in advance

    The only SAFE way to master your voice properly is to start voice lessons, and this can ONLY happen by taking face-to-face lessons with a fully qualified vocal teacher. Please do NOT rely on any dodgy web tutorials, because you can actually start using incorrect & unhealthy singing & breathing techniques in NO TIME and develop bad habits which will eventually lead to vocal nodules, hoarseness and other nasties. This is why the teacher MUST see and hear you properly, and that REQUIRES you being in the same space with him/her. It is MUCH wiser to invest a little bit of your time and money to proper lessons rather than wasting the same amount of money (or even more!) to frequent ear-nose-throat specialist visits due to aforementioned problems.

An amazing, rambling bit of prose which makes very little sense. If you want your voice to sound better then exercise it. Just like any other part of your body, if you exercise it it will work better. Take some lessons. Get voice exercises to help you strengthen your voice, increase your range, and better control your tone. If you don't want to take lessons the forget about sounding good.
