How to learn how to sing? And how long will it take?

I know I wouldn't sing like him because we have different voices..But are there any simple ways to learn how to sing really well? I really want to be able to sing, I'm 16 and my voice has broken a bit, but it can still squeak..But I just really want to be able to sing! I'd just love to be able to sing!! Anyway...So yeah, am I able to? And how long would it take? Thanks

step 1) you need a REAL singing teacher...not some bozo that just wants to make a few bucks step 2) expect several YEARS of hard work !!

I always thought you can learn how to sing and be good at it but really you have to be born with it. Singing is a natural talent. I guess you can try learning and taking some class but I don't how long it will take..
