Why can't I make consonant sounds while singing in falsetto?
-
I can sing vowel sounds just fine, but when I try to say words that involve consonants (i guess all words), my voice cuts off and makes this sort of raspy/cracking sound that sounds horrible. What am I doing wrong?
-
Answer:
consonants in songs aren't supposed to be sung very long. that's why most singers when holding longer notes tend to sing vowels and you might just have a sore throat today.
