What are some ways to promote my music?

Good way to promote music?

• im a rapper and im always thinking of ways to promote my music when i record the songs and video them in good quality, i think i have come up with a pretty genius idea and if this does work then u would be a fool to spread it out of this website. it stays between me and you guys, ok like you know its hard to get a lot of views on your youtube videos because u have to promote them and if u dont promote ur be lucky to get a few thousand on youtube. even if your talented. Well as you know there are a lot of groups on facebook which only take a "like" and your now connected to that group. for instance if theres a group called "i hate racism" it will probably get thousands of likes withing a day (well ive never made a group so i dont know but i have witnessed groups gather allot of likes in a day) once you "like" that page all of its updates will appear on your homepage on facebook. so would it work if you made a page such as "i hate racism" or anything else that would work, then post your videos on that page as you are the owner of it...and your video would appear on thousands of peoples facebook walls and the chances are if you are really good they will spread it on their wall? would this work? let me know...peace.....

  Instead of making your own page and having to start getting "likes" from scratch, what about sending a polite message to an owner of a page on facebook with a lot of likes (preferably one that has relevance to the things in your music), maybe they will be good enough to post a link of your videos from youtube onto their page. PS. Put a link of your youtube on here too, I'm curious.
