How do I get a Singing agent?

I need to get a recording of me singing for my singing agent? Help!?

• I think I found an agent. I have his e-mail, his phone number, his postal code (mailbox thing,) and his address. I'm thinking of taking some singing lessons with my music teacher for a little while before I contact him, just because my mom recommend it for me and how it'd help my voice a bit more. When I do in fact contact him, I know that I'll need a brief, but short summary of me, and my experiences with singing. I also know that I'll need a head shot, or at least a picture in which my face looks clear enough to see. But, I also heard that I need a CD or a cassette or something with my singing in it? How do I do that? Like how do I get it done and stuff? Somewhat confusing. And do I really need that? (the CD of the recording) Thank you!
