How can I become a singer!?

Hi, I'm 16 years old and I REALLY, REALLY, want to become a singer soooo badly. I've been singing pretty much all of my life, and have wanted this since I was about 7 years old. A lot of people tell me I am a really good Singer! I've been in chorus for 6 years. I have a very strong voice! And I can Play the piano a little bit. I always pretend I'm a singer preforming to a crowd and I sing in the shower all the time! haha. I had a youtube account, and I put videos up, but My mom made me delete it because it is "dangerous". I really wanna be a singer Like Lady Gaga, or Christina Aguleria, like music like theirs! Can someone please give me advice? (: I want this soooo bad.

You can try getting to know people who seem to be involved in music and get yourself some oppurtunities to perform publicly. Start small and get yourself noticed. Or form a band. :)

Learn songs and get out and perform. Go to clubs, talent shows, festivals, make a name for yourself.
