I want to enter this singing contest which will require a demo track of my singing but there is a problem?

the softwares i use has problem that is i wont get quality effect. i mean if u check aat ppl singin in youtube and all the song will b exactly like a professional one....i used mixcraft ant i am tpain......both will project a higher or a lower volume of my vocals....what do u ppl suggest

You can get a professional recording out of Mixcraft, but you do need to have a decent microphone. Beyond that, there are things you can do to get a good strong vocal recording. Check out the video on "Getting a Great Vocal Sound:" http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/v5/help/studio-tips.htm
