Singing(how can i get better?)?

One thing to consider is that everyone has a different voice. You may not be capable of singing like Haley Williams because you have a different voice. Some people are just blessed to be able to sing high and have great range. Don't push too hard to try and sing like her or else you could damage your vocal chords. Just keep practicing and trying to sound like YOU. People love singers who sound different and unique. Here are some tips that I give people a lot that I think are helpful for anyone who is trying to improve their singing: Sing everday Do lots of vocal exercises and go as high as you can go Take deep breaths from your stomach, not just your lungs (this feels like you are tightening your abs) Do not tilt your head backwards or forwards when trying to get notes out because this puts a strain on your vocal chords Open your mouth really wide and keep your tongue towards the bottom of your mouth (gives you better control and a more mature sound, act like you are holding a ping pong ball in your mouth and you cant let it fall out) Raise your eyebrows (crazy as it sounds, this helps you stay on pitch and in tune) Get a voice teacher! You can never go wrong there! Also, try learning different styles of music. Listen to some country female singers because some of them are really awesome! Try some showtunes. As annoying as they might be, you might just learn to like them. Most broadway singers are always really good because they have been trained so well! :)
