Where can I get a good, cheap microphone for singing?

I created my own style of singing hard rock/metal is that good?

  • I have a good singing voice but i created my own way to sing metal or hard rock. See i can make my voice sound really creepy and i can lower it to a deep pitch while im singing. And also i learned by cupping the microphone a certain way you can change your voice and stuff so i might be-able to increase my Growling sound by doing that. Also if i ever get in the business i plan on using voice changers so i can be creative with my music. Like creepy. Yall think that is good are do i just need to have a pure beautiful singing voice

    dude, value your talent, no matter what it is. there are plenty of people who would love to listen to hard rock music that's creepy sounding. Hell, i would. what you need to understand, is that there are lots of people/bands who wish they had good yelling or angry voices. Nightmare of You for example. their genre isn't hard rock, but i think the singer wishes it was, and he really can't do screamo. like, geez, he sounds like a freaking car going into an accident. i think this crazy style of yours sounds awesome. i'd love to hear it and good luck. i hope you can find or make some cool (and i guess somewhat creepy) music to go with your singing voice never forget the awesome that a piano can add to your music!even if just a little or repetitive bit. pianos can sound creepy too. (just a little personal advice at the end there)

That's freakin awesome! You should be proud of your achievement. I think you should use your pure voice sometimes but the cool and dark voice sometimes too.
