How do I sing higher notes without cracking?

Why is my voice "cracking" when I try to sing a bit of a high notes?

  • my voice just disappears when i try to sing a bit of a high notes but I don't have any cough or cold. It feels like something is stuck in my throat?

  • Answer:

you must sing from your diaphram. kinda like your sticking out your gut when you sing. it sounds funny but it works. your pusing the notes out. you have to pratice to get up thet high. you may be an alto and don't have a high enough singing voice as a seprano. try doing some warm up exersizes before singing everyday. like do, ray, me, fa, so ,la ,ti,do and sing them back down.

youre range is too short to get those notes.

my teacher always used to tell us to sing from the diaphragm. make sure you have enough air coming through and don't force it. some pro singers when they hit the high notes you can hear them pull back and their voice gets quieter. also you may simply need to switch to "falsetto" which is (if you're a male with a generally deeper voice) if you were to imitate talking like a woman. it takes some doing to make falsetto sound good and not silly, but you can do it. keep practicing! keep singing!
