How do you stop nasal singing?

Why do I feel strain in my throat while singing high and how can I stop it?

• I know that this is frequently asked, but.....why does this happen? I'm not a person who doesn't know anything about singing, I watch my friend's vocals lessons so I learn a few things there by watching him and listening to his teacher, I watch lots of videos online and practice....practicing on my own, I improved a lot, and I noticed it by recording myself.....I can do vibrato, I know how to breathe without running out of breath and hearing my voice crack, I know the difference between chest voice and head voice and I've found my head voice recently thanks to online videos, I know that I don't have to tighten, squeeze my throat (and I don't do that because if I did, I would realize it), I've also found resonance (on my own, again), and I imrpoved a lot.....now I can clearly feel vibrations in my nose area......I didn't pay attention to all of these things before watching videos and before watching my friend's lessons. Yet, when I try to sing a little bit higher (not too high, just normal) I feel like I'm straining, my throat gets tired immediately.....maybe I'm tightening it and I don't know? Maybe I should analyze this case with more attention and find some way to erase the problem? But how? I'm not a great singer, I don't have a great voice and I don't have a great range......I still can't figure out why I strain when I sing a little bit higher (cause I generlly sing low)......and that's not too high, because I am able to hit the notes correctly, I never try to hit notes I just can't reach because of my vocal range....I tried once, and my voice cracked, totally.... Just to make you understand, I tried to sing the song Let it be by the Beatles, it's not very high, yet I feel strain while singing that...... so, do you have EFFECTIVE ways to get rid of strain?

  im a singer, and when this happens, its just overworking vocal cords. i recommend a five-minute vocal rest and a cup of tea
