I know that caffeine dries your throat, I would just drink hot water, honey and lemon. Avoid milk or creams they also aren't good for the throat. And gargling with warm salt water is good for sore throats. :) Hope I helped :)
Yes, but you would do better with loose tea, preferably organic. Not tea bags.
As long as it's decaffeinated, then yes. Any kind of herbal tea (with honey) does wonders for lubricating your throat. Try peppermint and throat coat tea together. It's delicious :)
