What song should I sing for a upcoming talent show/audition?

I need help finding a song to sing for a talent show?

  • I really love singing and I would like to sing for my schools talent show. The one problem is that I cannot find a song to sing! Here's some background information about me: - I'm 13 years old - I'm a girl - I'm kind of in between a mezzo-soprano and a soprano. I cannot go too low without sounding bad but if I go too high my voice is very strained. - I want to sing a well known song. **It doesn't have to be new, just WELL KNOWN! - My music teacher says that my voice sounds good with "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music (if that helps at all in finding a song) I ask that the songs are not too difficult to sing, because I have never taken voice lessons. I will be performing this in front of parents, and first grade students to eighth grade students (overall about 900 people will see this) So I want to be good! All answers are welcome (: Thank you! :D If any other information is necessary just tell me and I'll add it in.
