How do I become a better singer by singing with my diaphragm?

• Okay, so I'm only ten years old and I'm a pretty good singer. I really want to get better at singing and I'm not sure how to sing with my diaphragm. If there are any singing teachers, could you explain better ways to sing better and ways to practice singing. If anyone could, contact me at [email protected] and I also want to learn higher singing notes and lower singing notes to better my voice. Please, give me direct directions that I can understand because when I am older, I would love to be a singer and I really need to sing because singing is my life! Please help!

  Girl, I'm right there with ya. I'm 13 and in a well ranked junior high choir in Michigan. To use your diaphragm, take really deep breathes and feel it move, push all of the air out of your lungs and don't let people hear you breathe. The lower you can sing, the higher you can sing. If you work on going higher, you will get lower notes also (but work on each separately also) Best Wishes, ~Maddi~
