What do you do in your First Singing Lesson?

Im going to take my first Singing lesson....???

• Hi , im 16 years old. I'm going to take my first vocal lesson cause i want to be a singer. But im very shy practicing at home... So my question is.. Can i go in a recording studio and practice in there doing like .. exercises , Scales. etc..??

  It would be very expensive to hire a studio just to practice. Especially as you have to practice every day for 1-2 hours. Honestly though, if you are too shy to practice at home how do you plan on becoming a professional singer? You will have to be able to hold your own on stage, so doing a few scales at home shouldn't even enter your head as a problem. I love singing, I sing at work, in my car, in the shower. Just keep singing and think of it as something not many can do well. If you can, it's a gift!
