How do i know if im going to be good at singing????

  • Hi , im 16 years old. How do i know if im going to be good at singing if i take singing lessons.???? i was watching the X Factor about 1 hour ago and this guy was singing for 15 years and Simon cowl said hes still rubbish , you might as well give singing up......

    Organise singing lessons and join a choir. Listen to what the choir master and singing teacher tell you and do not cloud what they say with self belief. If you have no ability to sing or to be able to retrain your voice, then a different hobby, past time or career should be your choice. If you turn out to be a poor singer, but enjoy singing, continue to do so anyway as a past time. Most of the people on X Factor really should be singing as a hobby before turning up so they have some idea of ability.
