No I want to learn how to sing, but I'm shy?

I want to learn how to sing....?

  • how can i learn how to sing....whicth out goingt to take classes....got any ideas???????? i want to be in a band im a girl....and it will most likely be a rock band ...maybe some metal..and punk.....these guys from school asked me to be in their band....but idk how to sing...i just listen to that type of music i don't actually sing ...i think i suck at singing...and i have never let anyone hear me... i told them but they say that (well we are in south ameica and the play songs in english ...and i come from australia...move here like 2 moths ago) so yeah and they want a girl to sing...and like none of the girls here would sing....and they listen to pop....so yeah ...but idk i want to lean how to sing ...hahah yeah strange question.....i would love to be in the band ....i always wanted to be in a band but i don;t want to make a fool of myself ...and i like the guy too....im 15.....how can i learn to sing like a good singer!??!?

    no need for difficult methods..this is what i do i sing japanese songs while japanese is not my language and i do all genres of them..the boy i like is at the band also,and now,i kinda teach them how to sing LOL firstly,try to ask the song they are listening to.. look for the lyrics in internet and print it/put in in your iPod then try to sing the same as the songs with do it with one of your headphone only,so you can still hear you voice singing if you feel your voice bad,don/'t worry.do it all over and over again..try to imitate them because singing is a process..no need to hurry i trained a lot that way anyway,if you want to sing in higher octave,, this is a tips try singing in your octave level then slowly reach that higher octave remember..slowly! singing is a process..okay? it takes time don't think that you're too young and i selfishly ask this to you hey i'm 12!!!

The only thing i can tell you is take lessons...They will help a bunch...maybe you can look online for lessons...but that's all i can say...sorry

theres no such thing as a good singer thats your first thing to know, its art and it can be just about anything, find an artist you love and use them to build an understanding basis (play sing along), the only thing i've ever seen in common with singers is that they all train their chords to be loud, so yell alot (use chords not air 4 power) and keep it within the limit of your voice not being lost and you'll be gaining strength its like muscle training except with less running, all these assholes set standards for this art and i just wanna drive a ******* stake into all of em, cause the good art breaks standards and too often we seem to digress from that,."i would love to be in the band ..i always wanted to be in a band but i don;t want to make a fool of myself", you seem to like the idea, dont be afraid of what other people think in their critical analysis of you, its really pointless in the end of it, let go, its worth it, like sex, but less primal and more thought provoking! good luck 2 u
