How do you train your voice so you sing better?

How exactly can i go to to train my voice because when i sing you can tell that i have one i just need help?

• I am 15 love hip hop and R&B and when i sing you can tell that i have a nice voice in there somewhere but i just need that extra help to perfect my voice and i don't know who to go to someone patient of course because it may take me a while, but i really would like to be a singer also like to dance and would love a really nice and comfortable dance class and i write somewhat of lyrics but there never finished i would also like to have someone help me put those together if possible and make some great songs

  Unless you are a complete natural at singing (which is pretty much no one. Everyone needs help on singing, no matter how small), GET VOCAL LESSONS! I've been taking vocal lessons for almost 2 months now, once a week for 30 mins. I can NOT tell you just how much my voice has improved. They are really fun (depending on your teacher), and they definitely help you improve. I can sing notes that I have never been able to sing with my chest voice before I took lessons. I used to always sing in head voice, but thanks to the lessons, my teacher has helped me get those high notes. In a way, singing is like science, believe it or not. I'm sure you know, but singing using your diaphragm will help you a LOT. You can't sing well if you don't breathe properly. My teacher explains a few body parts in the throat/nose area that work when you sing. She even showed me a video on Youtube of a vocal chord examination (pretty cool, the camera goes down the throat haha). Anyways, yeah, get vocal lessons.
