How to rid raspy voice in singing?
-
I am a 17 year old boy and I love singing. Although I have never had any lessons or training, I have developed a good amount of control in my tenor voice and have improved my vibrato. There is one problem which I have been having though. I sometimes develop a raspy voice when I'm singing. Well, maybe raspy isn't the best choice of words. I mean that my voice gets all buzzy due to phlegm build-up in my throat. I have post nasal drip syndrome along with terrible allergies and a severely deviated septum which restricts my breathing to one nostril. I am getting surgery to correct the deviated septum but I don't imagine that it would solve my problem. Does anybody have any good solutions?

Answer:
Try the product Alkalol and drink lots of good quality herbal tea. I have a lot of those same symptoms and this helps me out.
