Tips on getting over stage fright?

Tips on getting rid of stage fright?! PLEASE HELP!?

Any tips of getting rid of stage fright?! and not just stage fright but also being nervous and anxious? I had a singing audition the other day and did TERRIBLE because I was so nervous and it was in a room with only one person listening so i wouldn't call it stage fright! please help because I need it! lol thanks :)

Well I don't really know how to tell you a specific way to just get rid of it. For me I wanted to play the guitar for my church. But I wasn't very good and I was obviously horrified to do it. But the opportunity finally came and I screwed up.... A lot.. but after a while I got less and less nervous. Now I play in front of 3000 + people and I never feel nervous. You just gotta go at it like you own it. And just remember the people that have never failed at something are the ones that never tried... Hope I helped! I'll pray for ya!!
