How can I strengthen my stomach muscles to increase my singing voice?

    to strenghten your muscles is 2 eat right and and get exercise and then u will get abs or strenght in your muscles you no u dont need a good voice it sounds good already if you just sing from your heart you want need a better voice it probably sounds just as good as it would if you tried to strenghten it so sang from your heart not 2 impress hope you take my advice

lay on the floor, find something reallly heavy, and put it on your stomach! lol kidding. concetrate on breathing when you're not doing anything, and sing as much as possible!

What you have to do is condition your breathing. When you're just doing nothing, watching tv, listening to the radio, etc, work on your breathing and really concentrate on breathing correctly. Also, you might want to do a few exercises to work on your vowels. If you have more air behind your notes and tall vowel sounds, your singing will sound clearer. Also, the breathing exercises will help you so that you will get a nice, full breath every time you sing, which will help you hold out long notes and phrases.

Doing any abdominal exercise will help--sit ups, crunches, etc. Also, keep in mind that your abs aren't the only muscles that are working when you breathe. Your lower back muscles should be engaged in your breathing, especially since they'll help you take in more air for when you need to sustain longer notes.
