What artists are emo?

MODERN depressing/emo/rock/etc. music?

  • I can't seem to find a decent list with MODERN artists/bands/songs that are depressing/sad/emo etc. Any suggestions? A few examples of ones I can think of that I like are: "I Won't See You Tonight Pt.1" - Avenged Sevenfold Breaking Benjamin (pretty much all of their newer stuff) "All These Things I Hate" - Bullet For My Valentine "Bother" - Stone Sour "When You're Young" - 3 Doors Down "I ******* Hate You" - Godsmack "Good Day To Die" - Godsmack "Scars" - Papa Roach "45" - Shinedown (a lot of Shinedown I like) "Scream" - Zoegirl "Tears Don't Fall" - Bullet For My Valentine "Cut" - Plumb "Never Good Enough" - Rachel Ferguson "O'Sister" - City and Colour "Pain" - Three Days Grace "Beauty From Pain" - Superchick "With This Knife" - Smile Empty Soul Songs/bands along those lines. Pretty much anything that's somehow related to depressing, heartbreak, suicide, self-injury, eating disorders, mental illness, emo, giving up, etc. Thanks for any suggestions you have to offer! =)
