Need guitar amp help!!?

  • Ok i am getting a schecter hellraiser c1 in a couple of days and i need help with what kind of amp i need i am also goin to buy a Boss me-70 pedal but i dont know much so yea i need some help from people who play hard core , death core stuff like chelsea grin , blind witness, parkway drive , ect. And also whats a tube amp ?

Hard to give advice as you don't say what standard of player you are (beginner, intermediate etc.) or where you intend playing (bedroom or concert hall). Also, the ME70 you mention has an amp modelling capability. Are you going to use it? If so, you could actually go into almost any amp, including a PA. A tube amp is an amp that contains tubes or valves as we call them in the UK, as opposed to being solid state.

Look up what amps the guitarists in the bands you like use, then go into stores and try them out. Probably going to be looking for the new-school high gain stuff like Mesa/Boogie Rectified, Peavey, Randall, Krank and boutique amps like Bogner.
